ACIC-SGTU ORGANIZED “IDEATHON 2.0”

ACIC-SGTU has organized Ideathon 2.0, from 7th April 2023 to 12th April 2023. which is a platform for students to showcase their problem-solving skills and present creative solutions to real-world problems. The competition is divided into five themes, namely Healthcare, Agriculture and Allied Fields, Green and Clean Energy, Internet of Things, and Miscellaneous, providing participants with a diverse range of problem statements to work on.

The first round of the competition involved poster-making, which is an excellent way for participants to communicate their ideas visually and succinctly. It's impressive to learn that 60 teams participated in this round, showcasing the popularity and success of the event.

The final round of the competition involves a PPT presentation of the solutions proposed by the teams. It's great to know that there were 15 winners, with three winners from each theme, indicating that there were a diverse range of solutions presented by the participants.

Developing a prototype model can be a crucial step towards bringing an idea to market. It's wonderful to hear that the teams are enthusiastic about using their prize money for this purpose. It's also great that they received guidance from someone like Prof. Rakesh Kumar Sharma on entrepreneurship and idea generation. His expertise and experience can certainly help the teams in developing market-ready products. Entrepreneurship can be a challenging journey, but it can also be very rewarding.
